Three Bard College Graduates Win 2025 Fulbright Awards

Maia Cluver ’22, Cecilia Giancola ’25, and Oskar Pezalla-Granlund ’24 were all granted Fulbright Awards for the 2025-26 academic year.

Yebel Gallegos Awarded New York State Choreographers Initiative 2025 Award

Yebel’s choreography project will become a mini-residency designed to fit his specific artistic needs, and he has invited Dante Puleio, artistic director of the Limón Dance Company, to serve as his mentor.

The council says their awards “support the ‘creative capital’ that helps make New Jersey great.”

Tony Award Nominee Daniel Fish Directs <em>Acquanetta</em> at Bard SummerScape July 11–21
Acquanetta, which originally premiered at the 2018 PROTOTYPE Festival, comes to Bard in the same unmissable production by Daniel Fish, whose previous SummerScape staging (a revelatory take on Oklahoma!) is currently “the coolest new show on Broadway” (New York Times).

Bard Conservatory Alumna Luosha Fang ’11 Wins Viola Section of Vienna Classic Strings Competition
Fang, who will join the Conservatory faculty in fall 2019, performed Bartók’s Viola Concerto with the Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra to win the €20,000 first prize.

Ferguson will appear in conversation with WAMC bureau chief and host of 51% Allison Dunne.

Bard College Conservatory of Music Presents Mahler’s Symphony No. 3 on May 10 and 12
The Bard Conservatory Orchestra, conducted by Leon Botstein, will perform Gustav Mahler’s Symphony No. 3 in the Sosnoff Theater on May 10 and 12. The performances feature mezzo-soprano Eve Gigliotti, the Bard College Chamber Singers, Bard Festival Chorale, and Bard Preparatory Division Chorus.
